Qualification for UPSC Jobs:

  • Deputy Controller of Explosives – Degree in Chemical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Scientific Officer (Electrical) – Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognised University or Institute and
  • Junior Technical Officer – Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Telecommunication / Civil / Marine / Naval Architecture / Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. “Interpretation of “Equivalent” here means any Technical Institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC and not to be considered as educational qualification”
  • Specialist Grade III (Cardiology) – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (ENT) – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Preventive and Social Medicine) – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956)
  • Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Psychiatry) – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956)
  • Deputy Director (Safety) (Electrical) – Degree in Electrical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent
  • Deputy Director (Safety) (Mechanical) – Degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Sub-Regional Employment Officer – Masters Degree in Social Welfare or Labour Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Assistant Controller of Mines – Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution or passed Section (A) (B) of the Institution of Engineers (India) examinations i.e. Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Mining Engineering.
  • Assistant Director (Physical Education) – Master’s Degree in Physical Education with 55% marks OR Master’s Degree in Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. 2) Record of having represented the University/ College at the Inter-University/ Inter-College competitions or the State and/ or National Championships. 3) Passed in the National Eligibility Test (NET) OR SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment as University Assistant Director of Physical Education/ College Director of Physical Education and Sports. 4) Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with the norms specified under Note. 3.
